I'm fascinated by the strange little mechanics in games that make the character feel like a part of the world. This is a project exploring the use of context-sensitive design in games and its effect on player experience. Or more simply, about designing a strange space station and what you can do in it.
This project focusses on the role of mechanics and interaction on player experience. It explores this through the creation of a prototype containing simple gameplay. I’ve created a world and set of actions that form a cohesive experience and give a sense of presence to the player.
It's all about making an experience that feels 'juicy', consistent and flows well. So I made game about being a clueless delivery person exploring a strange place. I hope you like it.
