Video Games for Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy

For this project, I have created a proof of concept with the goal of creating an alternative form of online CBT delivery. This proof of concept took the form of a roleplaying game which aims to teach the players the basics of CBT in a more interactive and engaging way and uses quests and specifically designed mechanics to simulate and teach the player important lessons. These lessons are cognitive restructuring, exposure therapy, an example of a grounding exercise and mental health maintenance.
