How the course works
Your four-year journey
Year 1: Explore the business landscape
Build core knowledge across marketing, management, economics, accounting, and data. This year is shared with our Business Management and Accounting and Finance programmes, so you can explore before committing.
Year 2: Specialise in marketing
Deep dive into consumer behaviour, digital marketing, brand strategy and analytics. Professional skills modules help you build your CV and develop your professional presence.
Year 3: Put it into practice
Work on live briefs with real clients, go on a work placement, study abroad through our international partnerships, or enter marketing competitions. You’ll build a portfolio of real work to show employers.
Year 4: Your capstone project
A substantial final project where you demonstrate your expertise. Choose from a campaign, consultancy project, research project, or venture development, supported by academics and industry mentors.

We also have international partner institutions, from the US to Asia, and all stops in between, where you can study in English for a term or a year. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your CV, as it shows your willingness to experience different cultures and methods of working.
Delivered via blended learning
This degree is delivered using blended learning.
Blended learning means that some delivery is online, and some is on-campus. In the early stages, delivery is predominantly face-to-face with a little online. But the balance changes as you gain confidence in using technology for study.
Blended delivery not only provides an opportunity for a richer study environment, it also gets you used to online delivery. This is very common in all kinds of employee and professional development training.
Accreditation Sought
We have applied for this degree to be accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).

Accreditation displays a mark of the quality and the valuable skills our marketing students gain. Successfully completing an accredited course takes you partway towards a professional CIM qualification.
