Introduction to Sustainability: The Role for You and Your Organisation (THIS COURSE IS CURRENTLY FULL)
Individual Sustainability: Understanding and Reducing Your Carbon Footprint (THIS COURSE IS CURRENTLY FULL)
These courses are for those who are interested in learning the key concepts and practical applications used to combat climate change, utilise carbon capture, and enhance sustainability, both individually and at an organisational level.
Courses are also suited for individuals (in or out of work) who are looking to upskill or re-skill, small business owners and freelancers, third sector organisations/charities, businesses and organisations looking for training and CPD for their staff, and council and governmental workers/stakeholders.

These courses are delivered 100% online and each course runs for three weeks. The first two weeks are dedicated engaging with the learning materials, brought to you by knowledgeable and experienced lecturers. The third week is timetabled for the assessment which is a multiple-choice test designed to gauge the ability to apply the lessons learnt in the course to various scenarios. Each course is expected to take 50 hours to complete, with the flexibility delivered via online learning to suit your work schedule and home commitments.

Increasingly many organisations have recognised that sustainability is important at a personal and organisational level. This course enables those interested in sustainability to examine the concepts, policy, and ethical framework in which organisations operate and to develop the necessary skills to enhance you and your organisation in a sustainable manner.
Introduction to Sustainability: The Role for You and Your Organisation aims to provide an understanding of the concepts and practical application of sustainability goals and their role in the strategic development and operation of organisations and their activities.

This course will support you to get familiar with sustainability and introduce you to tools that can help understand and reduce your climate impact. By increasing your sustainability self-awareness, you will be able to make a positive difference in your own life, and in the organisations and communities around you.
The course will provide examples and case studies linking personal actions with climate change and carbon emissions. Whilst highlighting areas that are problematic, the course will give a positive outlook - providing solutions and actions that can reduce carbon emissions and help the environment.
Individual Sustainability: Understanding and Reducing Your Carbon Footprint aims to provide students with the knowledge needed to understand and reduce their carbon footprint. Using Carbon Calculator Tools, they will be able to determine their personal carbon footprint which will enhance awareness of their own contributions and, as a result, look at ways of reducing this.
