This course is for those who are interested in learning the key concepts and practical applications used to ensure cybersecurity and digital safety - for themselves and/or their organisation.
This course is also suited for individuals (in or out of work) who are looking to upskill or re-skill, small business owners and freelancers, third sector organisations/charities, businesses and organisations looking for training and CPD for their staff, and council and governmental workers/stakeholders.

This course is delivered 100% online and runs over a three week period. During the course, you will have the opportunity to engage with learning materials, brought to you by knowledgeable and experienced lecturers. The course is expected to take 50 hours to complete, with the flexibility delivered via online learning to suit your work schedule and home commitments.

Explore the importance of cybersecurity in a digital world. This course examines the cyber threat landscape and how organisations can maintain an appropriate level of cybersecurity. You will learn how to apply a risk-based approach to select appropriate methods of securing systems and data. In addition, the course examines organisational responsibilities to comply with GDPR using a 3D immersive learning App with work based scenarios.
