Our Money, Fees and Funding section has lots of other useful information.
All overseas students need to pay 50% of the tuition fee as a deposit, in order to confirm your place and receive your Certificate of Acceptance for Study (CAS). This payment is made as part of the conditions of your offer to study at Abertay University.
The remaining 50% of the tuition fee is paid when you register as a student at Abertay University. This is also when any Abertay Scholarship amount is deducted.
You will have the option to pay your fees in instalments, or upfront, the choice is yours. When you go through the online registration process, you can select which payment plan you prefer.
We have a wide range of scholarships specifically for international students. Find out more on the scholarship page and don't forget to use the filters on the right hand side if you are 'undergraduate' or 'postgraduate'.
If you are studying at Abertay as part of an exchange programme, you will continue to pay tuition fees (if applicable) as normal to your home university.
You do not pay tuition fees to Abertay.
If you are an international student, your fees also include free membership to the Abertay Gym, and to the nearby V&A Museum in Dundee. The V&A Dundee is the first design museum in Scotland and the first Victoria and Albert museum based outside London.
