Entry requirements
Undergraduate
Undergraduate Bachelor Degrees are 4 years in duration and we normally require students to have a senior secondary school leaving certificate (12th standard from ICSE, CBSE or state boards) with a minimum of 65% or better, or the equivalent of A-levels or IB (International Baccalaureate).
In exceptional cases, it may be possible to gain advanced entry with good grades. Please contact the student recruitment office to check if you are eligible for advanced UG entry.

Postgraduate
Applicants will typically require a Bachelor of Arts / Science / Commerce / Professional Subject with a minimum GPA of 2.9 (4-point scale) or 55-65%.
Students who do not have the required research component as part of their bachelor's degree, will be required to have a minimum of 60%.
Applicants who do not cover the appropriate subjects during their degree will be considered if they have relevant industry experience.
English language requirements
All courses at Abertay University are taught in English. If your first language is not English, you will need to demonstrate that you meet our English language requirements.

How to apply to Abertay
Undergraduate
Undergraduate (UG) degree applications are made through UCAS, the UK's University & Colleges Admissions Service. Applications from everywhere in the world must be made through this system.

Postgraduate
Postgraduate (PG) degree applications can be made directly to Abertay through your selected programme page. Please visit your chosen postgraduate programme page on our website and select 'Apply Now' in the top navigation.

We offer scholarships to international students studying on our undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.

Tuition fees
Tuition fees for international students will vary depending on your programme of study. Please visit your chosen programme page on our website for more information.
If you are self-funding your studies, you are expected to have sufficient funds available to cover your tuition fees before the start of each academic year. All international students are required to pay the whole annual fee in advance. Payment of tuition fees will take place before or during registration.
