How does it feel to be graduating?

It feels great to be graduating, I have a real sense of achievement backed by the knowledge that my degree is mine!

What made you decide to study at Abertay?

Abertay facilitated my entry to the degree course as a part time student and gave me advanced entry to 2nd year. This was important to me as I wanted to gain my degree in the most effective way, fitting in with my personal commitments.

How did you feel about going back as a mature student?

Coming to university I was slightly nervous that as a mature student I would be the oldest in the class. On day one I realised very quickly that I wasn’t the oldest and that age didn’t matter, everyone was really welcoming and interested in learning.

What’s next for you?

Over the next 3 years, the goal is gaining Chartered status as an accounting professional. I begin my traineeship with a local firm in August, and I'll study whilst working with the firm full-time.
