Sometimes life at university can be full of challenges and uncertainties. Counselling is an opportunity to explore issues that concern you without judgement. The Mental Health Nurse Advisor provides confidential advice and support for students who have a diagnosis or enduring mental health condition.
The Counselling and Mental Health Service is free and confidential for all Abertay students.
Using the pages below, you can find out more information on: how to arrange an appointment, where to access urgent help, what to do if you're worried about someone else, self help guides, and additional forms of support.
Advice on what to do if you are concerned about someone else.
We have a team of experienced, qualified counsellors, who will listen and talk through anything that's troubling you. Counselling is available to all Abertay students, from your first week on campus, until the day you graduate. Talking it over can help you see things more clearly and often make the world of difference.
If you are having problems, please email counselling@abertay.ac.uk or visit the Student Enquiry Zone (SEZ) on Level 1 of the Library.
