I am a senior lecturer in Artificial Intelligence. My research interests are in the broad area of distributed systems and my recent interests include AI, Machine Learning, Deep NLP and Graph Learning. I contributed to several European and UK research projects funded by FP7, Horizon 2020, UKRI-KTP, and EPSRC. I have published in AI conferences such as ICML, and AIAI and have served in TPC and editorial boards of similar events such as ACM-Eurosys and MDPI journals. Before joining Abertay in Feb 2022, I was a course leader for MSc Cybersecurity at ARU Cambridge where I taught modules in AI and Systems. I was also an undergraduate supervisor at Clare College at University of Cambridge.  Before ARU, I was a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Cambridge where I was part of the Systems Research Group, worked on EPSRC research projects, delivered tutorials and supervised undergraduate students.  Previously, I had spent around several years in industry.

I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and I teach CMP201 Data Structures & Algorithms I and CMP202 Data Structures & Algorithms II for undergraduate students, and CMP511 Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence for MSc students. I also supervise Hons and postgraduate students in the areas of: Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, NLP, Graph Neural Networks, Distributed Systems, Networks, Large Scale Computing, Cloud, Edge, Fog, and Cluster Computing.
