We know that getting your offer is exciting and tense at the same time, and you're bound to have lots of questions.

This depends on your chosen course. Classes normally take place Monday-Friday. You’ll get the full details when you receive your timetable during Registration.
Not yet. Once you register for your course here at Abertay we are able to create your timetable. This happens in August and normally takes up to four working days after you have registered.
We can't send it out earlier because it doesn't exist until you are a registered Abertay student. In some cases it may take longer to create, but rest assured you'll have it before you start your course.
Your timetable is accessed via your Abertay IT account so make sure you check your emails from Abertay. Please set up your IT account as soon as you can and keep hold of the login details. You'll use this account often, including to access your timetable.

Accommodation tours are run during Offer Holder Days. We may be able to arrange visits outside that, but the halls are owned by private companies so this may not always be possible.
In the meantime, you’ll find lots of information about our student accommodation in the Accommodation section.
There’s detailed information about bursaries, scholarships and funds in our Undergraduate Money, Fees and Funding section.
For Scottish students, there's a Discretionary Childcare Fund available from SAAS. You apply for that through the University.
For other questions about funding, please email the advisory team.
Please visit the Disability Support page for full details or email the advisory team if you have a specific question.
We don’t have any student parking spaces on campus.
Too many to mention! You can find all the student societies on the Abertay Students' Association website.
Several of our degrees follow a common pathway structure (such as accounting, sport, business and psychology) which allow you to switch to another related degree as your interests develop. Check out our course pages for more information.
Changing to an entirely different course is very unlikely. There are a large number of factors involved, such if there are any spaces available and whether you’ve got the relevant qualifications. It can only be done during the first two weeks of your first term and you would need to speak to SEZ first of all.
It really depends where you are coming from! Our How to Find Us page covers getting here by car, train, bus or plane.
