Through a generous gift from Lord Cullen, The Chancellor’s Fund is designed to assist PhD and Masters Students to meet expenditure relating to their specific area of research, such as expenditure on travel, conferences and networking opportunities. This is for funding in support of travel, training, conferences and networking opportunities relating to the applicant's specific area of research.
The Fund provides a total annual disbursement of up to £5000.
The Chancellor's Fund will also support Abertay's Annual Post Graduate Research Summer and Winter Conferences with the following Awards:
The winners will receive £50 each and will be chosen by the conference audience.

Applicants must be willing and able to meet the following award conditions if successful:
Applications must be submitted a minimum of 4 weeks prior to the event date.
All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by email at the earliest opportunity.
