Starting with data as a conceptual basis, Adrien’s work incorporates scientific research, digital technology, material culture, and sensory perception, using sculpture as a language to bridge the gap between reason and emotion. Information becomes knowledge through experience - a direct sensory perception of the tangible world around us. By translating data into physical forms and evocative materials, artifacts can become the trigger for an experience with meaningful impact. Adrien will share her work, research, creative process, and her perspective and experience working in partnerships across the fields of science, art, technology, and data visualization.
